Purpose
Our purpose is to guide and support organisations in breaking free from reactive cycles, perpetuating strategy and process that do not serve them, their stakeholders, or the world. We facilitate the birth of conscious inclusive systems.
Mission
Our mission is to empower communities of people, power and decision making with principles of nni methodology. We facilitate the conversation beyond the inherent dichotomy of ‘debate’ or current ‘dialogue’, into new transformed and co-created understandings. We ignite a new way of dialogue, whether it be organisational, political, economic, religious, in-conflict, stuck or simply not productive. A way that does not only produce new and enlightened strategies and actions, but that facilitates deep and inclusive systemic transformation.
Our Backstory
From South Africa to the World
nni (no-name-initiative) was birthed from a dream to create access to deep transformative and healing processes, and to make that available to all citizens of post-apartheid South Africa. It started out as a big vision with a big heart for greater equality, a call to service and engagement, and a commitment to real action and accountability - to empower and facilitate a pro-active citizenry.
nni Ignite, the non-profit front-runner and at heart of nni, has been hosting free public transformational dialogues since 2011, and has trained citizens as powerful dialogue facilitators across the globe since 2013 (up to 2020 nni had given 80% of participants half to full scholarships) .
nni Dialogue Institute developed in 2018 as an answer to the call of companies and government organisations asking for deep and rigorous transformation processes that allow for the ‘real stuff’ to surface and to be worked with in a constructive and transformative way.
As such, the nni Dialogue Institute cut its teeth in some of the harshest environments for addressing diversity and inequality: grass roots post- apartheid South Africa grappling with issues of race, gender, ethnicity, violence, trauma, inequality and abuse, to name a few.
nni Dialogue Institute partnered with London based Leadership Lab to include executive coaching, change programme design, diversity work, leadership development and consulting into its repertoire. This enabled us to deliver the perfect pan-organisational change processes for companies wishing to create and address their own transformation trajectories globally.
In 2020 we pulled our energy together, integrated and merged into one global NGO. With our teams seeped across the world, we have deep understanding and first hand experience of navigating and facilitating some of the most contentious issues the world is currently facing - locally and globally. We believe this makes us uniquely positioned and well equipped to guide and support you in your journey of transformation.

nniAgents of transformation
The stars and peaceful warriors of this global movement - nniAgents of Transformation! These are courageous facilitators dedicating between 7-12 pro-bono nniDialogues over two years to citizens and communities around the world. We also host global public dialogues online, open to anyone. To create ever more accessibility to transformative processes (part of our mission) we also support people (practically and financially) to connect online. Please donate to help us create ever more access to the gift of healing dialogue!
